Composition :

Each Film coated tablet contains:
Mosapride citrate     2.5 mg
Mosapride citrate     5 rnq-

Pharmaceutical form :

Film coated tablets.

Pharmacological action :

Mosapride citrate is an agonist at 5-HT4 receptors, increasing acetylcholine, release and stimulating gastrointestinal motility.

Indications :

Gastrointestinal disorders including:
Gastritis, gastroesophygeal reflux, nausea, vomiting and dyspepsia.

Dosage & administration :

2.5 – 5 mg 3 times daily taken before or after meals.

Contraindications :

– Hyper sensitivity to any of the components of the product.
– Pregnancy & lactation.
– it is not to be used by children.

Side-effects :

These side effects were observed on a very small scale:
Diarrhea, buccal dryness, abdominal pain, headache, asthenia and Vertigo.

Drug-Interactions :

-The simultaneous administration of Anticholinergics with Mosepride film coated tablets could diminish its effect.
Mosapride film coated tablets increases the gastric emptying rate thus; it can affect the degree of drug absorption. It can diminish its absorption in the stomach and increase it in the intestine.

Precautions & Warnings :

– In case of renal impairment.
– In elderly patients.
– It is recommended to discontinue treatment if there is no improvement within 2 weak.

Pregnancy and lactation :

It should not be used during Pregnancy or lactation.

Packaging & storage :

A carton box with 1,2, and 3 … blisters each of 10 film coated tablets + insert leaflet.
Store in dry place at temperature not exceeding 30·C.
