COMPOSITION:

Each Tablet contains:
Meclizine hydrochloride     25 mg
Pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) 50 mg

PROPERTIES:

NAVOPROXIN is a combination of Meclizine HCI and Pyridoxine HCI (Vitamin B6) for treatment and prevention of nausea and vomiting due to many causes.
Meclizine HCI is one of peperazine derivatives, which possesses antiemetic and anti – histaminic effects. The anti – emetic effects is exerted by depressing
Labyrinthine excitability, this action is mediated through blockage of nerve pathways to the vomiting center from chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ) and peripheral nerve pathways . – The antihistaminic effects is exerted by antagonizing the HI receptors in CNS. Pyridoxine HCI helps in the treatment of nausea and vomiting (hyperemesis), also it stimulates the appetite that might be depressed.

INDICATIONS:

NAVOPROXIN is effective in the management of vertigo, nausea, vomiting and dizziness associated with motion sickness.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Do not take this product, unless directed by a doctor or if you have glaucoma or difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland, or hypersensitivity to this drug.

WARNINGS:

May cause drowsiness. Alcohol, sedatives and tranquilizers may increase the drowsiness effect. Avoid the alcoholic beverages while taking this product. Do not take this product if you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers without first consulting your doctor. Do not drive or operate dangerous machinery while
taking this medication. It is not advisable to use meclizine or any other medication in the first trimester of pregnancy without medical supervision.

DOSAGE:

One tablet at night.

STORAGE CONDITIONS:

Store below 300 C in a dry place.
